“Hey, why don’t we meet for coffee and chat?”

This question could elicit a massive eye-roll if you’ve been party to the typical coffee meeting. It’s either a cloak and dagger approach where you are promised a nice conversation, but then surprised with a sales pitch, or, it’s a complete waste of time because either one or both of the participants show up unprepared and just talk about the weather for an hour.
