Bio
I started as an in-house Kaizen consultant for Eastman Kodak while earning my MBA, then leveraged that experience to purchase and grow a steel fabrication company from $3.5M to $23M before selling to a partner. I repeated this success at a pressure vessel fabrication company, scaling it from $11M to $33M in three years before a private equity acquisition.
From there, I launched my consulting business, which evolved into coaching and advising companies like yours to improve performance and ensure a successful transition. I understand the unique challenges of running a small business and the key factors that make it transferable.
As a Certified Focal Point Master Business Value and Transition Advisor/Coach, I apply the Focal Point Clarity, Growth, and Leadership curriculum to close business value gaps. As a Certified Exit Planning Advisor (CEPA®) and Certified Value Builder™, I use proven tools to guide you through business value growth, financial independence, and planning for your next chapter.
My wife, Sara, and I have four children and eight grandchildren. Outside of work and family, I enjoy reading, running, bicycling, lifting, swimming, hiking, and following CU Boulder sports.
