Vhance Valencia, PhD, is a recognized expert in building systems and processes for small businesses, both profit and non-profit, and government organizations. With over two decades of military experience all over the globe, Vhance has transformed the organizations he has led into more effective, resilient, and reliable teams.
Today, he translates that experience into real results through effective systems implementation helping the business owner realize their growth goals or prepare the business to be sold (usually at a higher multiple).
Vhance not only challenges the status quo in your business, but will change your company to one that is reliable, achieves high performance, and has a "systems culture." If your business achieves these things, you will have something called COMPLETE BUSINESS RELIABILITY — a hallmark of a successful business.
Vhance built systems and processes for teams as an Air Force squadron commander in Alaska and Delaware and then as a staff engineer for U.S. Space Command in Colorado. He brought together people accustomed to working inside their own "stovepipes," broke down the artificial walls separating them, and implemented a new way of working that achieved the impactful results military leaders were looking for. In his last military assignment, he implemented an employee onboarding system that eliminated seven weeks of wasted time and condensed the process down to three days.
Most recently, he's completed a consulting engagement with the Colorado Springs Hispanic Chamber implementing over 25 systems so that the chamber can run effective programs and reliably grow its membership.
When he was in the military, Vhance was a career engineer having earned a mechanical engineering degree, a master's degree in engineering management, and a PhD in systems engineering. He's earned prestigious certifications including a black belt in Six Sigma and a professional engineer license in mechanical engineering.
Today, he’s an entrepreneurial consultant helping small business owners achieve freedom from the day-to-day of their business, increase the business’s value, and achieve growth and scale. He is the only business consultant practicing SYSTEMology in the Colorado Springs area and only one of two in the state of Colorado.
