Bio
I grew up in an entrepreneurial family and have experienced
firsthand the challenges of building and growing a business. I attended college
late in life while supporting a family and running a roofing business.
After college, I spent time at large companies such as
Lockheed Martin and HP and others. Although I gained great experience in these
big businesses, I realized it really wasn’t for me.
I went back to my roots of entrepreneurship and haven’t
looked back. I have led and scaled several businesses with a few successes and
a lot of failures. These failures led me to realize that I might be able to
help other entrepreneurs avoid some of these same mistakes.
I built an early-stage investment fund and an entrepreneur
coaching program. With a portfolio of over 150 startups, I coached and mentored
many entrepreneurs. Although none of these have become $1B Unicorns (yet),
nearly half have gone on to either raise significant investment or are
generating revenue and creating jobs in their businesses. This is where I
discovered my passion for helping entrepreneurs and their leadership teams get
more of what they want from their businesses.
