Bio
David and his wife Cindi have been married since 1973. They met at CU and are avid CU sports fans. They have attended CU Football games since 1971, soccer games since 1996. David coached the CU Ski Racing Club while in school. We have two adult daughters, Elizabeth and Megan. They were both adopted; Elizabeth from Korea and Megan from Lakewood, CO. Both girls attended CU. Megan is the mother of our only grandson. David grew up in suburban Detroit and played football, baseball, swam and ski raced throughout the year. Skiing led him to CU and his life in Colorado. David graduated from CU with a BS in Finance with a minor in Accounting. Upon graduation, David began a commercial banking career. The highlight of that career was as President of Eagle Bank in Broomfield until the bank was acquired by Vectra Bank. David worked for Vectra, Guaranty Bank and First Community Bank, going through three mergers in 12 years. He decided to leave banking and spent almost 3 years as the CFO of a small restoration company before deciding to return to the Financial Industry. David began his Financial Services career with New York Life in 2013 and has received designations as a Financial Advisor and a Retirement Income Certified Professional. He has attended New York Life's prestigious Executive or President's Council every year since joining the company. David focusses on investment options, life insurance and retirement income solutions to achieve the best retirement program for each of his clients. Throughout his career, David volunteered for many organizations. He served on many City of Broomfield Citizen committees, was a member and Chairman of the Broomfield Economic Development Corporation and served on the board of the Broomfield Chamber of Commerce. He was a board member and Chairman of the Broomfield Community Foundation and the Colorado Conservatory of Dance.
