TeamLogic IT of Longmont and Loveland Owner
Outsourced IT

Bio

I am the
owner of TeamLogic IT in Longmont an IT Managed Services provider. We help
businesses in our community
achieve success,
stay competitive, and become more efficient by leveraging technology. Our
services range from Help-desk support, network monitoring to Virtual CIO. We
provide corporate class IT services to small to medium sized businesses. While
our focus is local, we can also support nationally. TeamLogic IT has a network
of 200 offices with 800 technicians allowing us to extend our local support
when needed.

I
currently reside in Longmont, Colorado with my wife and our two large
dogs.  We recently relocated from Geneva,Illinois.   We have three children – two girls and one boy the
youngest. The oldest is a Chiropractor in Superior and is preparing to open her
own practice later this year.  My middle daughter, who recently received
her Master’s in Social Work from CSU is practicing for a community health
organization.  My youngest is in his final year at Prescott College in
Arizona studying Adventure Education.

I
graduated Stockton University in NJ with a bachelor’s degree in Information
Science.  At the time I was prepared to go anywhere my job took me.
I was fortunate to get hired at EDS along with a couple thousand other recent
graduates to work for Ross Perot as he fought to modernize GM the company who
had just acquired EDS.  I was told to report to Detroit for my initial two
weeks of training and ended up staying there 10 years.

While at
EDS I completed my MBA at Wayne State.  Soon after I was looking for my
next career advancement and found it with a Software company in Chicago as a
Technical Consultant.  Work was fun and exciting, but travel proved to be
too much with a young family, so I hired in as an IT Manager for local
electronics manufacturer.   The company was growing and allowed me to grow
along with them, setting up IT Systems at International locations in Italy,
Mexico and China.

In 2000 my company was acquired by Honeywell.  While I
thought this would ultimately lead to the end of my role through corporate IT
centralization the opposite occurred.   My company now a division within
Honeywell experienced rapid organic growth along with doing multiple acquisitions
in adjacent markets.   My role increased and eventually I became the CIO
for Honeywell Life Safety a $4B Strategic Business Unit.

I have a solid understanding of business and IT.   This has
always put me in a unique position to work with business leadership to enable
them to leverage IT.  I very much enjoy being part of a leadership team
working on business opportunities and problems.   My IT background along
with my ability to speak with my business colleagues in their language has
provided me a wealth of opportunities.
